The Metabo HPT® features 36 V Multivolt brushless motor technology for more runtime, increased power and extended durability with essentially no maintenance. It comports a 1/2'' square drive with friction ring for a strong grip on sockets and accessories when attached. Professional grade power with 775 ft/lb of tightening torque, 1,218 ft/lb of nut busting torque and up to 1 500 RPM with up to 2 800 BPM. A 4-stage speed selection provides precision and control during a variety of applications. Responsive variable speed trigger provides complete control during the application. The ergonomic soft grip and centre balanced design to reduce fatigue during extended use and a built-in LED light effectively illuminates dark workspaces. It weighs only 8.8 lb with the battery for ease of use. AC/DC convenience meaning the tool can be powered by a MultiVlt battery or the MultiVolt AC adapter (both sold separately). Metabo HPT batteries use 21700 cells, delivering 1,440+watts of power, similar to 120V-15amp corded power tools. This allows for greater power and approximately 46% more capacity. The battery delivers 4 Ah of runtime in the Metabo HPT 36 V platform and 8 Ah of runtime in the Hitachi-Metabo HPT 18V platform.
